The Love Reset Challenge
1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-3 says, "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing."

When was the last time you studied on the topic of love?
When was the last time you truly felt loved?
When was the last time you expressed love in a way that was a non-sexual way?
Did you know that the greatest commandment in the Bible is to love? It is to "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself." In this, our entire purpose in life is realized.
So, how is your love walk?
If we are honest, many of us have allowed our love to grow cold. We have encountered real-life trials that have chipped away at the passionate zest to express this. Perhaps, you have had your heart broken by some relationship in your life. Maybe you have experienced the inflicting pain. Could it be that hurt has caused a wall to be set up so that you now guard your heart at all costs? Possibly you have tried to love and were met with rejection or disappointments due to unmet expectations.
Whatever the case, you may require a love reset.
Reset is defined as:
A set again or differently; to adjust, or fix in a new or different way:
To reset priorities
To restart, reboot, restore, restoration, reestablish, re-establishment, restarting, resetting, restoring, reestablished, reestablishing, reinitialize, rebooting, reinstate, reestablish, reinstatement, readjust, restart, boot.
Our love may need to be unplugged from the way we have been operating, and renewed through a refreshed perspective found in the Word of God. We can get it jump-started again so we can move forward in strength and intentionality.
The most potent force on the earth is love, and without it, we are nothing.
With all of this vagueness, superficiality, and even our confusion about what love looks and feels like, I would like to go back to the Word of God to find out what it has to say about love and how the Bible defines it.
